A Season of Thanks

Dear friends,

It would appear that we have skipped fall this year and gone straight to winter. By the time October hits, many of our supporters are back at it with making quilts, bags, toques, mitts and so on.

We were more than excited to be included as a recipient of the “2 wheels 4 Charity” parade this year. This motorcycle group collects toys and funds for the Camrose Women’s Shelter, St Mary’s Hospital, and for the first time this year our very own Bags of Love!

Social workers in our 17 active Child Service offices have been contacted and we have been busy sending out bags so they have their supplies ready to give out as needed.

We are also going over things with our new chapter of Bags of Love in Ponoka, making sure they are getting up and going. Thanks to them for all the hard work they are putting in there!
